Project Highlights

Kindergarten Garden

For this project, Kindergarten students cleaned up and revitalized an exterior space that had been neglected. We turned it into the Kindergarten Garden.

The Wooden City

Kindergarteners learned about towns, villages, cities and architecture. Together, they planned and built a mini-city. Kids loved using their imagination in this project.

Station Rotations

Our second grade classroom contained many learning stations. Small groups rotated through the stations during the week. Here, kids highlight some of these stations.

Stop-Motion Project

One student was curious about stop-motion. For a personal passion project, he learned how to animate a short stop-motion video. Eventually, all the other kid joined in to help!

Algae and Water Tests

Students researched solutions for the algae buildup in the class aquariums. They also worked on water tests and maintenance. We learned a lot about marine life and living organisms.

Holiday Arts and Crafts

Kids worked with the Cricut cutting machine to create special holiday cards. They also decorated ornaments.

Club Highlights and Playground Review

In this video, students worked together to highlight the many middle grade clubs. They also covered on-campus events and interviewed fellow students about their favorite playgrounds. Kids collaborated on writing, interviewing, scheduling, filming, and producing these video segments.

PBL Highlights

This long-term project covers many highlights. These include community projects, on-campus events, and a feature on the history of the school. Middle grade students did an excellent job producing these video segments themselves.
